Competitive Bowling ...
Most weekends we play a “Friendly” match against other local club's, either home or away. This is a great opportunity for anyone new to bowling to get first hand experience of the game but also great practice for the more experienced bowler. This also helps with meeting some of our other members.
Club Affiliation Number : 13091

Club competitions, open only to members, are held throughout the season. Three of these competitions are one day matches with teams drawn out of the hat.
Knockout competitions for both singles and pairs teams, 9 competitions are open to all members. We also have a Novice Cup which is always keenly contested.
However if you would rather just have a relaxing hour or two with a fellow member or even on your own, you can always enjoy what we call a “roll up”. Just turn up and try a few bowl's down the rink. We always end the season with with a fun event 'Candlelit Bowls' not to be taken at all seriously and for most the best bit being the fish and chip supper.
There is always lots for the experienced and new bowler to get involved with especially if you are looking for a more competitive environment to bowl. You can't beat the experience of playing with more seasoned players and you never know possibly even win a trophy! We have aspirations to win! Do you?
